Now more than ever, clear and frequent communication with ALL employees is increasingly important, along with a heightened level of empathy. We can’t assume to understand the impact of this virus on our colleagues.

This month, the Women@Mazzetti committee is putting the spotlight on Anjali Wale, a senior electrical engineer and associate from our San Francisco office. While the past year has given us a newfound appreciation and admiration for all the parents out there who have been juggling home schooling or childcare and work, we found Anjali’s ability to juggle competing priorities particularly amazing!

Bethany Beers is a Senior Associate and Energy and Commissioning Consultant in Colorado.  She was working from home in Ft. Collins before it was cool!  How she landed here was the result of a winding road, introducing her to great mentors and colleagues along the way. It’s the road that is leading her to success at Mazzetti, attracting both clients and co-workers for repeat work.

Brianne Copes is a Senior Associate and Mechanical Engineer in San Francisco, CA. Brianne started with Mazzetti as a plumbing designer after she graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Nearly 15 years later, she’s expanded her expertise (including plumbing design) and has earned great respect and trust from her colleagues and clients.

Hannah is a Business Development Manager in Mazzetti’s San Francisco office, a role that she has been advancing for the past four years.

For August’s Women@Mazzetti spotlight, we are doing something special and highlighting two women Mazzetti-ites this time! Please keep on reading to learn more about our wonderful summer interns, Jasmine Thomas and Sierra Loiselle.

Keisha Thomas is a Senior Electrical Designer in our Portland office. With a PhD in Electrical Engineering and many years of industry and academic experience, she came to Mazzetti over two years ago and has since become an indispensable part of our team and project delivery.

Lisa Sombart is a Principal and Team Leader in our St. Louis office. She is also a pioneer, and  not afraid to take risks, tackle new challenges, and take initiative to learn new things – including deciding to be an engineer at a time when women were even more scarce in engineering.

Monica Anderson is a Civil Engineer, Principal, and Co-Team Leader for our Oregon offices. She joined Mazzetti through a merger with BHE GROUP early 2019.
