Impacting Outcomes in Puerto Rico

Earlier this month, Mazzetti and our Sextant Foundation (in collaboration with Project HOPE), quickly organized and dispatched qualified volunteers to Puerto Rico. The volunteers were primarily focused on water purification assessments in communities most heavily impacted by the earthquake.

We are helping to improve the quality of life for these communities and providing resilient energy sources (in the event of future natural disasters). These schools can be used as places of refuge so ensuring that they have electricity will be a huge benefit and could save lives.
Responding to Puerto Rico's Water Purification Needs

Mazzetti and our Sextant Foundation are quickly organizing volunteers to join the response effort in Puerto Rico, post Hurricane Maria. Through our partnerships with the Department of Health and Project HOPE, our volunteers will specifically assess Puerto Rico’s water purification systems along the north and west sides of the island.

On the final day of the Healthcare Facilities Symposium (in Boston), Thursday September 19, we’ll kick off the next two-day “Reimagining Workshop” focusing on critical care spaces, presented by the Facility Guidelines Institute (FGI) & theSociety of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM). We’re assembling leading designers and clinicians, including folks from Harvard, Kaiser, Brigham Woman’s, Mayo Clinic, and more. Participating architects and clinicians earn continuing education credits.
