International-Women's-DayJust in time to celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD), some of our women Mazzetti-ites have been recently promoted hence the increase in % of women in technical leadership. The theme for IWD this year is #BalanceForBetter, something Mazzetti actively strives to facilitate (for everyone!). We’re encouraged to see the positive trend in our data (above), aiming for more gender balance.

Our Women@Mazzetti co-chairs attended one of the IWD Flagship events at General Assembly (located right across from the San Francisco office). The event included a panel of four female experts in the tech industry discussing strategies for building inclusive teams for greater overall company success. Within Diversity and Inclusion, inclusion is the most difficult part for companies to achieve. Inclusion means more than the definition of the word; it is engagement, acceptance, and respect of all people regardless of gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, etc.

With this in mind, we are committed to explore further what ‘inclusion’ means to Mazzetti. What does it mean to you?
