Robin Freiberger joins Mazzetti as the Director of Business Development for Medical Equipment Planning and IT/LV Consulting:
ROBIN’S JOURNEY TO BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:
I initially set out to be an Industrial Psychologist and began my career in training and development. An unexpected turn led me to business development, where I discovered my knack for building genuine relationships and influencing decisions. This path has brought me deep into the realm of healthcare construction, and now, two decades later, I’m immersed in Medical Equipment Planning and IT/LV Consulting. What drives me? The challenge of deciphering what sparks interest in clients and propelling them to engage with our services.
A PROJECT THAT LEFT AN IMPRINT:
There have been numerous projects, but one stands out vividly – the $450M Nemours Children’s hospital during my tenure at Skanska. Despite joining the project a tad late, we integrated swiftly, built trust with key stakeholders, and secured our position. The hospital, with its exceptional design, caters to numerous young patients in Central Florida. It will always hold a special place in my heart.
WHAT MOTIVATES ROBIN IN HER FIELD?
I cherish the thought that my contributions play a part in creating healthcare facilities that save lives. Even though I can’t stand the sight of blood, this is my way of indirectly contributing to patient care.
WHY MAZZETTI?
Upon leaving my previous company, I was on the look-out for an organization with stellar leadership, positive work environment, and superior resources. Mazzetti checked all these boxes, thanks to Bryen and the team. Here, I see a bright path to round off my career, which, mind you, is years away.

A PEEK INTO ROBIN’S LIFE BEYOND WORK:
I’m a music aficionado, frequenting concerts and keeping a close circle of DJ friends globally. Cooking, hosting themed parties, and traveling are close to my heart. I’m often dubbed the ‘Julie the Cruise Director’ amongst friends, which alludes to me being the “go-to” for fun plans. I have a dog named Mikey whom I adore…maybe a bit too much. As for quirks? Frogs terrify me, and ketchup is a no-go.
