When I discovered this new position at Mazzetti re the Employee Experience, and after some due diligence, I quickly realized this was my next “home”. I am truly fulfilled by facilitating experiences in the workplace that render inspiration, connection, and an infinite curiosity for more knowledge and growth.
My own journey — I studied geography and history at the University of Colorado, Boulder and later obtained a master’s degree in International and Intercultural Communication at the University of Denver. Shortly after graduation, I had an opportunity to move to France where I lived and worked in the education sector for four years and became fluent in French. Once back stateside, I worked for a global management consulting company, wearing various hats, including in project management, operations, and various HR functions. After 6 years, I was gravitating towards more of the people-aspect of this work… I knew I needed to heed this calling!
I was drawn to Mazzetti for the opportunity to focus on the people experience in the dynamic engineering field. Mazzetti really cares about their people, evident in the thoughtful employee initiatives toward making Mazzetti a best place to work. I hope to build on this great work, to continue cultivating a rewarding, inspiring, and engaging environment for employees. In this new position, I will focus on the complete life cycle of the employee experience including talent acquisition, onboarding, and engagement throughout an employee’s journey.
I love doing anything outdoors with my husband and young son. As a lifelong athlete, I have played baseball, soccer, volleyball, tennis, running, bowling, and kickball. And, yes, I’m also passionate about traveling for many reasons, including the unique “perspective-opening” and greater understanding (and respect) of different cultures and our physical environment.
I’ve been fortunate to travel internationally throughout most of my life, visiting countries throughout North America, Central America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
