The historically significant school and 11-acre site underwent a major $138M renovation to improve inclusiveness and equity through building and site design for 1,800 students.  Collaborative design team work provided for inviting exterior student spaces, reconstructed pedestrian and vehicle access, improved parking, upgraded street frontages and accessibility along public pedestrian corridors, a re-connected relationship to Grant Park, and enhanced environmental stewardship through stormwater treatment and infiltration.
