I have been an active member of ASHRAE and IBPSA, contributing to the dialogue on energy efficiency and building decarbonization. My previous role as a board member for IBPSA-USA underscores my commitment to advancing our industry. I specialize in energy analysis and electrification, leveraging analytical expertise and critical thinking to develop innovative design solutions. The excitement in my work stems from its intersection with engineering, building physics, and data analysis, fields I’m deeply passionate about.
An interesting chapter in my career was leading the conceptual design for a campus microgrid project. Collaborating with microgrid operators, mechanical engineers, and controls providers, I developed a web-based optimization tool to evaluate its feasibility and environmental benefits. This project, which incorporates renewable energy, battery storage, and fuel cells, stands as a testament to my commitment to sustainable innovation.
