For over 30 years, I’ve had the honor of planning and designing highly sustainable mechanical systems in Healthcare. Prior to our merger with Mazzetti (January 2018), I was in the president at PerryCrabb for nearly 15 years. I am accredited by the US Green Building Council (LEED AP) and also carry Healthcare Facility Design Professional (HFDP) and High-Performance Building Design Professional (HBDP) certifications from ASHRAE. My memberships include the Georgia Society of Healthcare Engineers (GASHE), the American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE), the Georgia Society of Hospital Engineers (GSHE) and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). I am also a member of the Health Guidelines Revision Committee of the Facilities Guidelines Institute – the group that writes the “Bible” of healthcare facility design called Guidelines for Design and Construction of Healthcare Facilities. I am a professional engineer registered in the states of Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina and Florida. I graduated with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from The Georgia Institute of Technology.
I have lived in several states (Texas, Arkansas, Missouri and Ohio) before landing in Georgia. Currently, I live in Decatur with my wife of 27 years and our three sons. I am active in the Decatur Rotary Club, a Cub Scout and former Boy Scout leader.
I have also served in many capacities in my church and am currently Vice Moderator and board member of the Southeast Conference of the United Church of Christ. In my spare time, I enjoy woodworking, bowl turning, canoeing and cooking.
