Decarbonization and Sustainability Specialiste

After graduating with my master’s degree in Climate Change and Sustainability in 2020, I am eager to bring this knowledge to life! My passion for mitigating climate change and in-depth knowledge of the field of sustainability, GHG inventory creation, and ESG data reporting is the greatest value that I bring to clients. The healthcare sector is one of the most carbon-intensive service sectors in the U.S.; I have the opportunity to directly impact.

I previously worked for an UN-funded non-governmental organization (NGO) to promote the sustainable Development Goals in northern Nigeria. As a team leader, I was successful in coordinating my team to implement projects aimed at promoting the UN SDG in seven communities. These projects entailed the installation of biodigesters in open markets, the coordination of skills training labs, the installation of solar panels on community buildings, etc. The successful execution of these projects (despite language and tribal barrier) led to an increase in the standard of living in these communities.

In my role at Mazzetti, I have the privilege to continue elevating communities (including health equity) through creating more sustainable environments.

My Flipside

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, hiking, travelling, cooking, and volunteering.

I grew up in northern Nigeria, which is a region devastated by climate crises, and this experience made me passionate about promoting decarbonization and mitigating climate
