With more than three decades in healthcare planning and delivery, he blends LEAN methods, integrated delivery, and data-driven master planning to align projects with clinical operations, patient safety, and long-term infrastructure needs. 

His portfolio spans campus and facility master plans, multi-phase renovations, and new $4B hospitals. Jon is known for building integrated teams and for using the right tools at the right time, such as BIM to test options early, and modular and prefabrication strategies when they reduce risk and waste; he also employs integrated delivery models to align scope, schedule, and budget. 

Benefit Mission in action: Jon steers choices that measurably cut environmental impact while improving reliability. He advances electrification and heat-recovery strategies in place of legacy steam, tightens air change and ventilation strategies to reduce reheat energy without compromising infection control, and sequences work so savings persist after turnover through clear operating modes and staff training. Recent highlights include leadership with Helen Diller Hospital and UC Davis Health California Tower, where early planning and stakeholder engagement set the foundation for resilient, low-carbon MEP strategies and construction phasing that protects ongoing patient care. Jon’s approach is hands-on, collaborative, and grounded in real-world operations; he meets clinical teams where they work, then designs delivery around how they deliver care.
