I have extensive experience delivering healthcare projects, including new construction, expansions, and complex renovations. I have successfully led my team to develop innovative and practical design solutions for challenging project requirements. My technical expertise includes master planning, utility coordination, normal and emergency power distribution, medium-voltage systems, lighting design, and all-electric hospital infrastructure. I have experience with projects incorporating photovoltaics, high-efficiency lighting systems, and other sustainable design strategies
Innovation is at the core of what we do at Mazzetti. We listen to our clients and focus on solving problems in new ways that are environmentally responsible and economical.Â
I’ve had the opportunity to design PV systems in Haiti, and to develop electrical standards for the first edition of “Standards for Health Infrastructure” for Liberia’s Ministry of Health and Social Welfare. Our work in third world countries is very rewarding and an important part of what we do.
Outside of work I love spending time with my family and friends. Relationships are truly the most important thing to me. My wife Kelly and I are always in motion with our sons Jesse and Noah, and our dogs Charlie and Brody. There is never a dull moment and I wouldn’t trade it for the world! We like to stay busy and we have lots of friends and family nearby so our social calendar fills up quickly.
I spend enough time sitting during the work week that when I am off I like to be outside and active. I love to play soccer, go hiking, swim at the pool, go on bike rides, garden, and snowboard. I also enjoy a good creative project every once and a while. Last summer I designed and built a deck and pergola in our back yard, with some help. It’s hard to say what project I’ll be inspired to do this summer, but it is sure to be something!
