Water Reuse in Healthcare

Why "Hot" Water for Hand Washing in Hospitals is Often More Harmful & Expensive

Heated water is NOT needed for hand washing. Due to wide-spread conservation measures, the heated water is more susceptible to stagnation, causing (sometimes) deathly waterborne pathogens. Healthcare facilities should be able to make their own informed decision on water temperature for hand washing.
