What inspires me in working at M+NLB: Being creative. Finding better, simpler, more efficient ways to do things. Learning and improving every day. Doing work I believe in. Being around a bunch of really smart and caring people. At M+NLB, I have had the opportunity to work on projects that are helping the healthcare industry become more sustainable (for example, assisting in the development of the LEED for Healthcare Guidelines and the ASHE/AHA Sustainability Roadmap for Hospitals), and I am inspired to work at a firm that clients seek out to do this type of forward-reaching work.

I really enjoy sharing ideas. All my colleagues at M+NLB are willing to share and help out which makes the work environment very comfortable and conducive to growth. I enjoy meeting with user groups and learning about what people do day-to-day and what their needs are, and then to be able to take from that and design an environment around those functions and needs. Especially in the healthcare industry where there are so many intricacies across all the different departments but they are all critical to keeping the facility functioning. There’s always something new to learn - it’s hard to get bored.
