With 18 years of mechanical engineering experience, Jon’s engineering system designs include virtually every HVAC system and many specialty applications, such as central plant heating and cooling, active smoke control systems, custom air handling systems, and hydronic heating and cooling system design. In addition, Jon has developed an expertise in infection and air quality control. He has successfully mitigated the spread of pathogens in healthcare facilities through gaining a global understanding of the site-specific issues to assist in site planning and building orientation, air system selection and management, and understanding the program functionality within a hospital.
