Mazzetti Nash Lipsey Burch Announces New Leadership in Irvine Office
Jun 18, 2010

Engineering and consulting company Mazzetti Nash Lipsey Burch (M+NLB) announced today that its Irvine, California office is under new leadership. As managing principal, Khoren Abrahamian, PE will now lead M+NLB’s Southern California market.
With over 30 total years of industry and mechanical engineering experience, Abrahamian spent 20 years in leadership positions at HDR, Inc. where he served as Project Engineer in their Alexandria, Virginia office and Mechanical Section Manager in their Pasadena, California office. Some noteworthy examples of his work include a 125,000-square-foot MR-2 research facility addition for the University of Virginia, a Central Support Services and four-story laboratory /computer data center for the University of Southern California’s hospital, a 250,000-square-foot Veteran’s Administration clinic/hospital in Sepulveda, California, and most recently, the completion of a $70 million, 180,000-square-foot expansion of the new heart hospital for Kaweah Delta Healthcare District in Visalia, California.
Abrahamian joined M+NLB soon after the company’s Irvine office opened in 2004. The office was a result of a consolidation of the company’s Beverly Hills and San Jose offices. Since then, the Irvine office has built upon a solid base of healthcare projects, adding mission critical, commissioning, higher education, and laboratory projects. “Five years ago, we opened our Irvine office, adding one of the brightest stars to the business and to our team,” said Walter Vernon, M+NLB CEO. “I am completely confident that Khoren will continue to demonstrate the leadership that his clients have relied upon for so long. In a very real sense, this is his office, and we will support Khoren, our Irvine staff, and our Southern California clients.”
