Mazzetti Nash Lipsey Burch Principal will advise California

Rebecca Boulter, PE, LEED® AP, will serve on California Building Standards Commission Code Advisory Committee
San Francisco, CA, September 30, 2009— Mazzetti Nash Lipsey Burch (M+NLB) Principal Rebecca Boulter has been appointed to serve on a code advisory committee for the California Building Standards Commission, the firm announced today.
Boulter will serve on the Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical and Energy Committee, one of six building codes committees that review the technical merit of building standards proposed by state agencies every year and provide recommendations to the Commission. Boulter has over 20 years experience in electrical engineering and lighting design and has a wide range of project experience, including work on medical, commercial, biotechnical, educational and light industrial buildings. Notable projects of Boulter’s include the Chabot Observatory & Science Center in Oakland; Modesto Memorial Hospital North Tower in Modesto, Sutter Medical Center in Sacramento; and the MEP Infrastructure Upgrade and Clinical Remodel for UCSF Medical Center’s Mount Zion campus.
Committee members are appointed by the Building Standards Commission and represent the public, building design professionals, the building and construction industry, local government building officials, fire officials, and other affected parties. Members serve three-year terms and are not compensated.
