Mazzetti & Associates Hires New Senior Associate For Portland Office

Portland, OR, December 22, 2008 — Mazzetti & Associates has hired William Caron, PE as Senior Associate.
“Bill brings talent, leadership, and practical design services to our firm,” said Karl Atteberry, Principal in Mazzetti’s Portland office. “Bill’s industry knowledge and business skills also make him an excellent fit for our growing firm.”
Caron joins Mazzetti from Einhorn Yaffee Prescott in Boston where he served as Senior Mechanical Engineer and Lead HVAC Engineer. He brings over 12 years of mechanical engineering experience to his new role. Some of the most noteworthy examples of his work include a 600,000sf renovation of the United Nations Headquarters in New York City, a Class 1K, 10K & 100K clean space research cleanroom for Nano-Manufacturing research at Boston College, and Construction Administration for a new data center and support spaces at Boston College’s Boston campus.
Caron holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Northeastern University in Boston.
Founded in 1962, Mazzetti is a full-service mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology consulting and design firm, providing nontraditional engineering services in climate change consulting and medical equipment planning and procurement. Mazzetti has offices in San Francisco, Denver, Irvine, Portland, and Sacramento and recently merged with Nashville-based Nash Lipsey Burch who has additional offices in Baton Rouge and Houston. The combined firm serves the healthcare, mission critical, science and technology, and higher education sectors.
