Mazzetti & Associates Hires New Science & Technology Team Leader

(San Francisco, CA) — Mazzetti & Associates (M&A) has hired Thomas Adams, PE as Senior Associate and leader of its Science & Technology group.
“With a notable record of design performance, Tom brings both talent and leadership to our firm,” said John Pappas, Principal in M&A’s San Francisco office. “Tom’s high level of client service and collaborative approach to the design of complex facilities also makes him an excellent fit for M&A.”
Adams joins M&A from M+W Zander in San Francisco where he served as Chief Mechanical Engineer for their San Francisco office. He brings over 25 years of mechanical engineering experience to his new role at M&A. Some of the most noteworthy examples of his work include biopharmaceutical cGMP and utility projects for Bayer Healthcare, Berlex, Inc., Chiron, Amgen Inc., and Genentech, Inc. In addition, he has an extensive background in electronics cleanroom manufacturing and laboratory projects for Hewlett-Packard Company, General Electric Company, Read-Rite Corporation, and The Clorox Company.
Adams holds an MBA from St. Mary’s College, and a Bachelor of Science from California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo.
