Mazzetti Nash Lipsey Burch provided electrical, plumbing and communications design services for the $93M, 230,000sf, 6-story new heart hospital wing adjacent to Kaweah Delta Hospital and renovation/ expansion of the existing emergency department and radiology department at the hospital. This project houses a fully functional basement, housing mechanical, electrical, elevator and building management systems, 3 cardiac OR’s, 4 cath labs, 2 OB surgery rooms, 20 ICU beds and 15 emergency department beds. The first floor contains lobby and emergency department which connects to the existing emergency department. Second fl oor is dedicated to ICU and Cath labs which also connect to the existing hospital. Third floor is the Mother Baby Unit and fourth floor is the telemetry unit and outdoor mechanical yard. The fifth and sixth floors are shell spaces for future development.
