This project includes the design of a new office building in an existing state-owned laboratory campus site across 29 acres of the City of Richmond. The new office building is approximately 200,000gsf, three to four stories, and consolidates around 850 DHS staff once located across five different East Bay branch offices. Phase III site development included new parking for 600 vehicles and tie-ins to all existing site development features from Phase I and II, which consisted of laboratory buildings and site infrastructure.
This project has recently been featured in High Performing Buildings and Architectural Products magazines.
This project also was recently featured by PG&E for their efforts on energy reduction and efficiency.
