This project includes a new 172,000sf patient tower (Hofmann Tower), central plant equipment upgrades and renovations within the existing hospital.
The new patient tower is a 5 story plus Basement New Tower addition to the existing campus. The primary program is the Cardiovascular Institute including an Interventional Department on the Garden Level. M+NLB provided master planning, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering services for this project, which included the following:
- Garden Level: 5 Catheterization Labs, 12 Prep/Recovery bays and 4 step down lounge recovery bays.
- First Floor: ED with 32 Treatment Rooms and ED Imaging suite.
- Second Floor: 12 CVICU and 17 Telemetry Private Patient Bedrooms.
- Third Floor: 32 Telemetry Private Patient Bedrooms.
- Fourth and Fifth Floors: Shell Space.
