The four-story $35 million Patient Care Tower renovations add an orthopedic surgical suite with four operating rooms, a 12 bed LDRP suite, relocated central sterile, an 18 bed PACU, a 15 bed Pre-Op/Recovery unit, and a radiology expansion. A seven level 663 space parking garage with helipad joins the building addition and an adjacent office building via sky bridges.The work included partial relocation of an operating data center as well as extensive rerouting of medium voltage electrical feeders from the path of construction. Infrastructure work included the addition of two generators and expansion of the facility’s paralleling gear, and replacement of two major low voltage switchboards.
Mazzetti Nash Lipsey Burch provided telecommunications systems design, including voice/data/video infrastructure and provided coordination with all necessary disciplines for pathway layouts, support hardware, firestopping, and integration of applicable medical equipment infrastructure.
