This 300,000sf MOB is in an area of urban redevelopment and so posed a current security challenge. Besides providing complete cable design services, including IT room layouts, horizontal cabling, all pathways and specifications, M+NLB developed a comprehensive security plan that allows clinic administration the flexibility to expand security coverage if necessary in the future. As a candidate for LEED accreditation, exterior lighting plans also posed a challenge in a facility with an afterhours Sleep Center and related patient/staff access. M+NLB’s Technology Consulting Team has coordinated with M+NLB’s electrical engineers and both the core/shell and TI architects to ensure a cost-efficient infrastructure, including support of all voice/data requirements, A/V, overhead music/paging and television. M+NLB will assist the owner with bid evaluations and contractor selection.
