M+NLB provided medical equipment planning services for this is a six-story, 160,000gsf Medical Building, 50,000sf of which is dedicated to Department of Ophthalmology and Cullen Eye Institute. The Ambulatory Surgery Center, which is located on the facility’s first floor, includes advanced operating rooms and patient-focused preoperative and recovery areas. The Department of Ophthalmology and Cullen Eye Institute provides treatment for specific eye conditions such as a cataract and corneal surgery center, a contact lens clinic, and a glaucoma center, as well as a clinical research unit.
