This 27,000sf environmental testing laboratory addition supports efforts to protect water quality. Mazzetti Nash Lipsey Burch designed highly flexible mechanical and electrical systems to allow for changes in equipment and work areas caused by monitoring requirements, as well as modifications in techniques. Sustainable systems included raised-floor displacement ventilation, natural convection ventilation and cooling, and rainwater flushing of toilets.
