Mazzetti Nash Lipsey Burch (M+NLB) designed the MEP systems for this $37M acute-care hospital serving rural South Carolina. The 85,000sf facility includes an adjacent 35,000sf medical office building. Services include 41 in-patient beds, Women’s Center, Intensive Care, Imaging, Emergency, Surgery, physical and occupational therapy, and in-patient rehabilitation. For this facility to be realized, rigorous cost control measures were necessary. M+NLB participated in on-going sessions with the owner and design team reviewing first- and life-cycle cost of systems to provide optimum resolutions for the owner.
