The Cancer Treatment Center is a 5,500sf facility housing both medical and radiation oncology services. The design includes two linear accelerator vaults with dedicated HVAC systems and processed chillers serving the medical equipment. The building is also equipped with a piped medical gas system and combination wet-pipe/pre-action fire protection system. The building is Type 2 construction, B occupancy. Construction was completed in 2003 with several renovations since initial occupancy to accommodate the growth of the facility. The structure is designed as two separate occupancies for medical and radiation oncology, including a linear accelerator. Mazzetti Nash Lipsey Burch provided mechanical, electrical, and technology design.
