Mazzetti Nash Lipsey Burch provided mechanical and electrical engineering for this new, state-of-the-art, 12-story, 330,000sf expansion to University Hospital South. The design meets today’s and anticipates future needs. The new building is adaptable to new technologies as they become available, while matching existing limited floor-to-floor heights. This project houses 12 full-blown operating rooms with MIS technology, clinical radiation oncology, bone marrow transplant, and inpatient nursing functions. Kohler Pavilion is a 2009 AIA National Healthcare Design Award winner.
