Nashville Office Sustainability

Posted by Amy Jarvis on January 15, 2010 at 7:33pm

Our Nashville office engages in a wide variety of sustainable practices that result in energy savings and a lower impact on the environment.

Building sustainable energy usage:
  * Efficient interior lighting, including LED exit signs and T8s
  * Building Automation System, time shutoff controls
  * ENERGY STAR certified building
  * ENERGY STAR rated appliances, including copiers, printers, and refrigerators

Everyday sustainable practices:
  * Duplex printing/copying
  * Toner cartridge recycling/reuse
  * All paper products consist of 30% post-consumer recycled content or greater

On-site recycling:
  * Cans
  * Paper
  * Toner cartridges

The Nashville office is slated to be a pilot project for a new green office certification for the City of Nashville.  As the City develops criteria to motivate change, M+NLB will do our part to work with them and make changes to our office.  We look forward to the challenge.

Probably for the printing,Digital prints usually cant go much larger then 11x17 inches. Regular litho can usually go to 36x42 on some of the larger presses. Digital presses are only cost effective for quantities up to around 500. Above 500 regular litho costs less.brochure printing nyc
