Our Denver office engages in a wide variety of sustainable activities. Last October, this office was honored with a Silver level award from the Colorado Department of Public Health Environmental Leadership Program. To achieve this endeavor, our office engages in the following activities.
High accessibility to public transport
Minimization of carbon footprint through buying less supplies and not having appliances, like a refrigerator
Duplex printing
On-site recycling of:
* Batteries
* Glass
* Paper
* Cardboard
Recycling/reuse of printer and toner cartridges
Purchase of paper products with 30% post-consumer recycled content or greater
Recycling of electronic waste
Sustainable energy usage:
* Efficient lighting, including LED exit signs and linear fluorescents
* Occupancy sensors
* Building is targeting Energy Star certification
* Use of ENERGY STAR rated appliances, such as copiers
