Nashville, TN

Founded by Hugh Nash, Steve Burch, and Spivey Lipsey, Jr., Nashville opened its doors as Nash Lipsey Burch (NLB) in 1997 with no work under contract, but with many long-standing client relationships. These relationships resulted in four major commissions within the first 18 months: a $350M redevelopment project in Chicago for which they provided telecom services; a medical center master plan in Arkansas that led to a Diagnostic & Women’s Center addition; a replacement facility in Mississippi; and an electrical system upgrade for the Veterans Administration in Nashville. Incredibly, after only two years of practice, the newly formed company had worked in 20 states.

NLB merged with Mazzetti & Associates in 2008. Led by Steve Burch, the healthcare-focused office boasts high-profile projects across the country, including Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center and multiple projects for National Surgical Hospitals based in Chicago. These projects, along with on-going work with HCA, Tenet, Iasis, Province, Triad, and Community Health Systems, have continued to fuel Nashville’s growth and success.
